There is no doubt that we need leaders and managers, and that being the case we need to find some way of developing their potential. And that’s about where the agreement ends.
What we tend to disagree about is how to carry out that development. As a trainer and coach I’m quite often asked to provide management and leadership development. And I always need to get the client to define what they mean by that – what is it that they want to change or make better?
